Call For Papers 

The Center for International Relations (CIR) welcomes papers from academics, practitioners, and students regarding International Affairs, Intelligence and Economics issues. CIR is interested in publishing a broad spectrum of papers on topics, including (but not limited to):
  • Foreign Policy
  • Economics
  • Terrorism
  • Globalization
  • Arms Control
  • Democratization
  • Defense and Military
  • Human Rights
  • Environment
  • Intelligence
  • International Trade
  • European Union
  • Regional/Country Studies

We are looking for pieces that engage the reader, inspire thought and promote the exchange of ideas. We presume that your work addresses the established audience criterion and leave the validity of your sources to your judgment. If we deem necessary, we may ask you to provide supporting documentation sources for your piece. Other guidelines are as follows:
  • Avoid local and cultural jargon.
  • The piece must be submitted in English.
  • Include a bibliography and footnotes, where applicable, for your piece.
  • Provide a brief biography of yourself including your present and past positions, experience and any other publications.
  • All pieces should be in a Word (.doc), or text (.txt) format. CIR reserves the right to edit for space and style if necessary.
